Detail, vol.46, no. 6 (Abr. 2006): p. 642 (Felix Jerusalem)
Arquitecto alemán. Felix Jerusalem established his practice in 1995. He also teaches at Zurichs's ETH. Jerusalem's philosophy is to create architecture that is distinct, clear and evident. The Compressed Straw House in Eschenz (pictured) epitomises the experimental approach. The panels that make up the walls and partitions are filled with compacted straw, providing execellent low-cost insulation. His ambition is to satisfy clients and to continue to experiment with materials. Ongoing work includes restoring a 1970s villa in Zurich.
